Accreditation and CMS Compliance Made Easy!

Are you ready for a SURPRISE CMS survey? Three years goes by very quickly when AAAHC re-accreditation is due. The challenges we face include ensuring regular policy checks, updates on regulations, QI study topics and Benchmarking. And as you know, there aren’t enough hours in the day or days in the week to ensure compliance in all these areas. 

Did you know that the most citations given during an inspection are due to facility staff not following your Policy Manual. Always be sure that your practices reflect your policies.

• Please be aware that the 2012 Life Safety guidelines have been approved and adopted. 
• Does your Policy Manual and your practices reflect these updates? The AAAHC surveyors will be looking for this during a survey.
