An EMR Shortcut!

Attention: Practices who book and schedule through IOLINK.


When booking a patient, always perform a ‘name search’ first. If the patient has previously had surgery, only the date and eye will have to be changed if it is the same surgical procedure. However, it is always good practice to double-check the insurance(s) to ensure that particular field is current.


The fastest way to receive support for an EMR-related issue is to: 

  • Open a ticket on Fresh Desk
  • Open a “new ticket” and explain issue.
  • It is always very helpful if you send a ‘screen shot’, too!
  • You will receive a tracking number and you will be contacted within 24 business hours.
